Between the launch of the all-new XC60, and the XC40 waiting in the wings, this has been an exciting year for Volvo. But the future looks brighter than ever, with the recent announcement that all the brand’s models will feature hybrid power by 2019. Yet for all that good news, this year also represents a very special occasion—one we’re eager to share with our current or prospective customers. As the greater Houston area continues to recover from the devastation of Hurricane Harvey, charitable efforts to aid in the relief for the region have continued to grow from across all industries. While we serve customers in the Tulsa area with our Volvo models, we're proud to be associated with an automaker who has offered unique assistance to car owners who live in the FEMA-declared disaster areas. Specifically, every car owner in the area is eligible for Volvo Car Employee Pricing and an additional $1,000 towards the vehicle of their choice.

As one of the more unique models that we're able to offer at Volvo of Tulsa, the Volvo S60 and V60 Polestar station wagons are rare all-wheel driving vehicles with a 362-horsepower, 347 pound-feet of torque performance. The thrilling courtesy of their new 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that combines a turbo and supercharger, resulting in a motorsport-inspired ride that feels above its class and ripe with sport-tuned specifications.

As the local solution for new Volvo models in the greater Tulsa area, our staff members have to be current with the successes of our various luxury vehicles. With August now fully behind us, we're able to analyze how particular models struck a chord with drivers across the country. Leading the way from the brand was the Volvo XC90, which sold 2,869 models to interested luxury SUV owners. But not far behind was the Volvo XC60, which just ushered in the debut of its newest generation.
