Service/Maintenance
The Sensus Connect system also integrates service and maintenance records and controls. You'll be able to control your Volvo using your smartphone using the Volvo On Call app, activating the horn and lights, starting the engine, locking the doors and even checking the weather around the vehicle. The system also incorporates roadside assistance and emergency support services, as well as theft recovery. The Driver's Journal feature also automatically records all your trips, mileage, fuel consumption, duration and more. Export this data to Excel for easier tracking for business, or to monitor your traveling easier.
The system will also remind you about maintenance appointments that need to be scheduled, and you'll be able to schedule the appointments directly through the Sensus Connect system in the vehicle. Should an unexpected problem come up, you'll also get a report of the work that needs to be done in your center console, making the process that much simpler.
Control
The gauge cluster has long been the information source for automobiles. Customize your gauges exactly how you want them with the Sensus Connect system. Three modes include:
- Performance: speed, acceleration and handing information is displayed
- Eco: fuel consumption, miles per gallon, and driving tips are displayed
- Elegance: simple displays provide a clutter-free dashboard
The Sensus Connect system can be controlled using voice commands by simply pressing the Voice Control button on the steering wheel. The system learns your voice, tailoring itself to your style and rhythm, leading to better recognition. This even works sending text messages.
