When Volvo announced the completely redesigned 2016 VolvoXC90, we had to pick our jaws up off the floor! We are blown away by this beautiful redesign, and everywhere we look are finding more and more features.
Coming this Spring to Volvo of Tulsa, we can't wait to have this updated model on our showroom floors. Let's take a look at some of the highlights of what's to be Oklahoma's new favorite SUV!
Outside, you'll immediately notice the new styling that will be reflected throughout all new Volvos. Some of the highlights include updated grille, LED daytime running lamps and a bolder stance.
Moving inside, this luxury SUV is as nice as any German vehicle you can find. There is plenty of room to go around, with each of the seven seats designed to comfortably hold adults. To save on space, Volvo even used a special ultracompact rear suspension -- the same used on the brand-new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray -- to maximize passenger room. Each second row seat reclines individually, and each of the second row and third row seats can be individually folded flat into the floor -- all the way into the floor.
Luxury abounds throughout the cabin, with the little touches making all the difference. The gear shift knob is made out of crystal, and each one is handmade by a Scandinavian glassmaker. The LCD touchscreen has been rotated and is now in portrait orientation, maximizing space and making it one of the largest and easiest-to-use in any car on Earth. It will also be one of the first with Apple's iOS CarPlay integrated.
Don't think you won't get classic Volvo safety in the all-new 2016 XC90 either. In fact, this car is so safe that rear side airbags weren't necessary and aren't included.
