The Future is Electric for Volvo

If you love your Volvo internal combustion engines, you may be in for a bit of a shock. Volvo recently announced plans to phase out the internal combustion engine, getting rid of it entirely by 2019. Starting in 2019, all Volvo vehicles will have some sort of electrical power. While there will still be gas engines, they will not be the sole means of power. Volvo plans on making every vehicle a hybrid, a plug-in hybrid, or fully electric.
